THE IN-BREATH AND OUT-BREATH

Within TreeSisters we call the receptive Feminine principle the ‘in-breath’ and the active Masculine principle the ‘out-breath.’ Our inner Feminine feels how things are, so that our inner Masculine can know what to do. TreeSisters Groves are made up of a balance of in-breath receptive nurturing activities and out-breath care-taking actions, so that through balancing ourselves we can bring balance to the outer world.

A SUGGESTED IN-BREATH PRACTICE:
THE UNFURLING PRACTICE FOR SISTER CIRCLES

Many of us have become shut down to these feeling aspects of ourselves, instead becoming overly identified with our rational, logical and ‘making sense of things’ aspects. Coming back together to nurture each other through sisterhood is a powerful and delicious way to reconnect to our instinctive knowing, our huge capacity to feel deeply and the birthright of our divine interconnectedness with all of life.

The Unfurling is a beautiful practice that you can use with the women in your Grove as a way of tapping back into your felt sense of sisterhood and your connection with nature. This is a three stage practice incorporating meditations as well as enquiry questions to support deep sharing and exploration within your Sister Circle.

A SUGGESTED OUT-BREATH PRACTICE:
SET YOUR OWN TREE TARGET

With tropical tree planting being a primary reason for TreeSisters existence, we would like to extend our invitation to everyone in your Grove to give funds for trees. This is a very simple out-breath activity that your Grove can engage with as a collective expression of care for the planet by creating a baseline for ‘giving back’.

You can either choose to give monthly, by setting up a monthly membership for your Grove – or you can choose to give on a less frequent basis, by giving a one time donation whenever your Grove feels inspired to. It’s can be a fun and inspiring activity for everyone to figure out how many trees your Grove will collectively fund. You’ll be surprised how many trees you’re able to plant!
